The Best Natural Remedy For Those Annoying Mosquito Bites
I don’t know about you, but I get BIT UP by mosquitoes as soon as Summer is here. I’ve read articles about why this happens to me, and every year, I come home from being outside and I look like I have been feasted upon. I absolutely have not come across any sprays, roll-ons, or creams that smell remotely good. Not to mention the chemicals that are in some of the products are not something I want to put on my body or my kids’ bodies. I’ve even tried citronella bracelets and surrounded myself with candles as if I’m about to recite the Hail Mary.
After coming home from our camping trip last week, I felt defeated about being bitten but determined to find something to help me with the constant itching that plagued me all day and through the night. After I made a batch of this solution, I was thinking how easy it was to put together. Once I sprayed about 15 bites with it, I felt almost immediate relief. The smell is strong but pleasantly strong and fades after a few minutes. I kept it at my side after I took my shower for when I felt another cringe of itch take over. This stuff is legit. My kids can use this and I don’t have to worry about any residual chemicals. I admit I am a craft nut when it comes to trying new natural solutions–the magazine I found the recipe in, Willow and Sage has some exceptionally easy recipes from soaps, to creams and more that you can DIY at home.
